A remarkable man, Pasquale (Pat) Desiervi. was born in the Bronx, which is, of course, one of New York's finest Boroughs. He was the pride and joy of Felicia and Attilio Desiervi, an only child. Pat spent most of his time at the family restaurants watching and learning what it takes to run a successful restaurant. There motto is, as now, NO COMPROMISE WITH AUTHENTICITY AND QUALITY.
Pat, being naturally sociable, delights in meeting people. All of the family recipes can be found in his uncle’s cookbook .

New York-New York opened in April of 1998 and has been reviewed many times by local critics and is always well written. Pat knows that real food takes longer. He uses only the finest breast of chicken, milk fed Provine Veal tenders, quality beef, the finest imported pasta and whole milk cheeses. Bringing you the best quality possible, we prepare our food to order not pre-measured, pre-cut, pre-done. This takes longer. Sit down, relax and enjoy life. It’ll be worth it when you get it!
